Tonight: Techno and Tech-House

The line between House and Techno can be a little fuzzy… more tendencies and attitudes than hard and fast rules separate them. Complicating matters is the extensive cross-pollination between the genres, creating buffer zones of house-influenced techno and techno-influenced house. Tonight’s episode explores those areas of overlap, while remaining pretty solidly in the techno camp. At the core of this episode, and probably many TK, is a compilation from Romanian label Origami Sound collecting their favorite 100 tracks released in their first four years (simply and appropriately titled 4 Years) and priced to move at ten euros (about fourteen cents American a tune!)
