Another ~120 BPM episode. This one distinguishes itself with the inclusion of more rock than the average SttM, and announces the fact right out of the gate with the latest Redd Kross single. From there it quickly pivots to some nu-disco courtesy of Breakbot and Holy Ghost! From there, we get all kindsa genre agnostic– more dance rock from Imperial Teen, house from Schegg, dreampop from Panda Riot, remixes, techno, afropop, darkwave… Essentially an overcorrection following last week’s d****** rut.
