Coming Up This Week: Stir Crazy Cabin Fever Dance Party

Exciting things are afoot this week at the ol’ NOPE factory!

First off, I feel I owe an explanation, if not a full apology, for the lack of a new show last week. This episode fought me all the way. Or I fought it. I was trying to make it either a grimdark gothic dance party to reflect our trying times, or else a light house party romp to take people’s minds off our (still) trying times. The episode wanted to be neither, so I fought it… until I realized it wanted to be BOTH. So I embraced the bipolarity of the entire affair… and realized that it was both at once. Because part of our trying times is how they cycle so quickly between resigned despair and flippant, manic joy. Just read your feed of choice and watch it bounce between cute animal pictures and stories about idiots protesting while detainees are stuck in close quarter deathtrap prisons… it’s everything all at once!

Just like the episode it describes, that last paragraph did NOT go where I expected it to…

And on to more (actually) exciting news! Wednesday night (4/22), you can tune in to Radio NOPE at 11E/8P for the above-mentioned new SttM episode… you can also tune in earlier, at 8E/5P, for the PREMIERE of a brand new show, Radiant Point with Nick and Lysa!

Also, you can tune in on Saturday (4/25) at 7E/4P for still another premiere of yet another brand new show: Scene Beef!

I think that covers it… there are of course, our usual shows, Protonic Reversal firing on all cylinders (and all days), new interview show The Operative, the return of The Public Record, Musicon With Musikoff, the new PRF Radio Hour on Fridays, Hit It + Split Sunday mornings, Live From the Barrage in its new Sunday night slot, The Electric Beach Blanket every Monday… probably more I’m forgetting… just tune to Radio NOPE any hour of the day or night, and you’ll hear some good shit, trust me…
