Episode 187: MDK Code 187
A few weeks before this episode, Brian Musikoff aired episode 138 of his always excellent Radio NOPE program Musicon With Musikoff, which consisted of 138 minutes of covers of the Misfits’ “We Are 138.” It got me in mind of times gone by, when I’d do episodes based on their number. SttM #23, twenty-three being the number of Discordia, was an hour of music by Dischord Records recording artists. As 75% is another way of saying 3/4, I considered making episode 75 an hour of waltzes… music you dance to is dance music, no? This did not end up happening– happily or unhappily, depending on your tolerance for Strauss.
But anyway, this line of reasoning called to my mind that episode 187 was coming up. Plans to do an entire murder/homicide themed episode also did not pan out, but here is the MDK episode.
