Episode 214: Get Into My Groove

Many episodes of this show end up serving as accidental (or semi-intentional) label showcases. This episode would not exist had I not stumbled across Z Records on Bandcamp. I don’t recall exactly who or what pointed me in the right direction, but I snatched up a few compilations (you can go through the playlist below and easily suss out which ones) that became the backbone of this mix.

To this backbone I grafted other house and disco from my collection, trying to disguise the deep debt, but to no avail. It’s frickin’ obvious, here. But it did mean that I had too much material to fit into an hour. So here it is: 85 minutes of funky bliss
