Episode 225: I Got A Rock
2021 Part I
It has become something of a tradition, or maybe just a habit, for me to do two episodes looking back at the previous year in January. The first episode is traditionally/habitually a collection of the rock and/or roll songs that I’ve enjoyed over the year but (usually) didn’t play because they didn’t fit the format. This episode fits that pattern, a collection of rockism that skirts the edge of danceability.
Another tradition/habit is that I allow these episodes to go as long as they want to go, usually 90 minutes each for a total of three hours. This year, just over an hour for the rock side. I wonder if this reflects a change in my listening habits…
