Episode 227: Sky Came Falling

This was the first episode after a random glitch took out my Traktor playlists. So rather than starting with a list of all tunes I’d previously selected to fit the tempo and vibe, excluding any I’d used in previous episodes, instead I started with… nothing. The way that it shows up in this episode is that it forced me to rebuild form scratch, which had me include tunes I’d already played.

And so, mixed in with recently purchased/acquired tracks there are several older tracks, some you could even call oldschool. Aphex Twin. Plug. Clifford Gilberto. Optical. Proem. Photek. A blend of fresh and classic.

Aside from that, this mix is VERY high energy, starting fast and never really letting up (OK, it lets up a little bit with the Skream and Proem tracks). Great for impromptu lightswitch raves, floor mopping, all nighters…
