Episode 162: Broken English

I did manage a second new episode in October! It was a busy month, filling in on station duties for (happily vacationing) absent NOPE comrades, and there were a few things I had to let slide…

One six two begins with a tune off the recent Ladytron release, before retreating back a few years to Cooly G’s debut, then back to the now with a recent Martyn compilation track, then wayyyyyy back to the 90’s for a Sunscreem rave-up. The temporal push-pull comes to a pause with a string of recent house, techno, and hard drum tracks, before slipping back with a classic Robert Hood minimal jam… then stays firmly entrenched in the future for its remainder.

Santa Muerte, Daedalus and Rhi provide a mid-mix palate cleanser, before Ariel Zetina eases us back into the groove for a house/hard drum heavy climax, and then Jayhood and Tamaryn close things out with some sweet vocal action.
