Episode 195: Tabula Rasa

FOUR! FOUR weeks in a row playing Machinedrum and SWAN MEAT! Ahhhh-hahahahaha! Even a D’n’B episode can’t stop me. This is the last new episode for a bit of a bit, as we proceed into holiday reruns. I will be putting together an episode for the weird week between Christmas and New Year’s. As usual, that liminal time feels like the proper context for some deeeeeeeep techno.

But for now, we have this lovely slice of breakbeat madness. Things get especially weird and noisy toward the middle… in hindsight perhaps overly so. And about fifty minutes into the mix I realized two things: that it was going to go long and that it had no real ending. So I cut out the last two songs and replaced them with a truly thirsty banger from Jade. Yes on the fly. Yes I am that badass. Go me.
